This video is courtesy of Max Harris who was one of four that accompanied me on my pilgrimage back to Hill 488 on June 15, 2011. The video starts with a Northeast view and then pans clockwise taking in the surrounding area. When the battle for Hill 488 took place on June 15-16, 1966, the hilltop was a little different. Primarily, there was just the big rock that SSgt Howard used as his command post, the knee high grass, and weeds, no trees.
